And it came to pass that while I was in the middle area of the Lewis County Mall that behold, a gathering of some of my old missionary companions and friends did arrive. And also Gordon B. Hinckley and Thomas S. Monson were also there.
And President Hinckley did ask us if we would all like to go to church with him. And we being eager former missionaries from the Georgia Atlanta Mission did hop into the school bus that he had waiting outside of the mall waiting for us. And now I was amazed that outside of the Lewis County Mall in Washington State would be downtown Salt Lake City, during the evening.
And President Hinckley did transport us all towards the East side of the Valley up to the Avenues area where his Church was located. And we did disembark the bus and enter into the Church, which did look like an old Stake Center from the 60s.
But behold, we were decieved for when we went inside it was actually the interior of a high school adutorium about the size of Abravenal Hall. And we did sit on bleachers towards the back so as not to disturb the ward that had gathered.
And I saw that the ward was about 2 times bigger than the Centralia Ward which I currently attend, except they had to sit on folding chairs instead of benches. And there were stairs heading down towards the front to the stage where the Bishop and his counselors sat, and I could not see where President Hinckley or President Monson had gone, but I assumed that they were at the front.
And now it came to pass that while I was sitting there, one of the former Sisters from the mission (whom I actually don't remember being on my mission) starting getting friendly with me. And I told her to leave me alone because I was married and so was she and her husband would not appreciate her behavior.
And now it came to pass that I did spot Rick, the Ward Organist from the Centralia Ward, and I did tell my fellow missionary pals that he was really good, so that was why they probably brought him all the way from Washington to play the piano in President Hinckley's building.
Then they had some talks, which I can't remember. For the musical number they cleared the folding chairs and had Rick (who is almost blind btw) trying to do gymnastic tricks with a flag pole.
And I said "I can't believe that they are making him do that! He's BLIND, and they ask him to do THAT for the MUSICAL NUMBER!! If he get's hurt, he'd better SUE THEM!!!"
At which point I woke up.
